First off wanna say, shout out to Joseph (I think that’s his name don’t remember well) security guy for giving me The Black Angels set list from last nights show. It was taped to the stage and when the band was done playing some crew guy went on stage and ripped them off the ground and threw them to the crowd, since it’s paper though they didn’t get far and landed in the little pit area where the photographers do their thing and Joseph (I really hope that’s his name haha) gave me one. I actually talked to the guy a bit, he introduce himself to the whole front row it seemed, he spoke to me first though since I was right in front of the guy and he asked me questions about the bands playing and what to expect from the crowd which I thought was funny.
What a show, man. Honestly I don’t think I can ever listen to The Black Angels music the same again after last night. It was just so, I don’t even know how to say it, visual I guess. The lights, the projections on the white screens, the colors, man, the colors!haha Their performance of “Young Men Dead” is probably the best performance of any song I’ve seen this year and I’ve seen some pretty kick ass bands this year.
It was just a great night. I had a front row spot, right on the railing which was good because I’m always so awkward with my arms at shows, I don’t know where to put them, I feel weird sticking my hands in my pockets and I come off pissed off if I cross my arms, haha. I’m always just moving them around so it was nice to just have them over the railing they had there, haha. Great night like I said, for sure not the last time I experience The Black Angels live. Now, unless something comes up between now and June 1, next show I’m going to is Black Rebel Motorcycle Club at The Wiltern, and you know that’s gonna be a good time.

Anonymous asked: what do you look like?
I was trying to think of something smart/witty to say to this, but fat and Mexican pretty much covers it.
